BECOME WHAT YOU ARE by Alan Watts

by: Alan Watts

The late Alan Watts was a leading guide for many seekers and some of his articles published and broadcast in the 1950s are collected here, together with earlier thoughts from the 1930s. He examines Western spirituality in the light of Zen and Asian thought, particularly Buddhist influences and the Tao. He also looks at the mystical roots of Christianity, all in a very readable style. Seekers of truth will be challenged by the depth of his philosophical thought, little bombs of great wisdom are thrown into the light prose style of the work of this master teacher. In his day he had a large following, particularly in California, and his words still hold power and significance for today’s reader.
