This is the autobiography of one of the great heroes of the spiritual revival and most generous teachers of the last sixty years. He died less than a year and a half ago but so many of us still owe him so much. Much of his teaching was autobiographical anyway and his life was pretty much an open book but here are many more stories and this time they are not always so spiritual. On the other hand perhaps they all are! There are lots of pictures too – this is an immense treat for those of us who are fascinated both culturally and spiritually by the great leap forward that took place in the 1960s. He writes about Allen Ginsberg, Sharon Salzberg and Alan Watts. And of course there is much about his guru who he always called Maharaj-Ji, and all the other great teachers he crossed paths with. It includes a foreword by Anne Lamott.
