This is a truly delightful deck of 36 full-colour cards by British artist and spiritual seeker Wendy Andrew. They depict different aspects of the goddess or specific goddesses like Inanna, Brigid, Amaterasu and Rhiannon, all set in timeless natural settings among trees, on hilltops or in water, with many accompanying animals: owls, deer, hares, lions and foxes. The images are utterly inspirational, but can also be used for guidance if we allow ourselves to sink into the energy of the goddess. There’s a beautiful accompanying book that gives more background to each card and who is depicted on them. It also gives advice on how this wonderful deck can be used for divination.

For twenty three years we have sent the Cygnus Review out free with our love. It has been our delight and a pleasure to do so.
As you know Cygnus income has not kept up with the huge increase in postage costs for some time now. So to continue and to develop as a community we will now be relying on increased subscriptions and donations, at least until we have enough regular subscribers.
So your gift from the heart will breathe new life into our community, and will help us create a new future together which unites like-minded people more consciously.
Many of you have expressed an interest in meeting others of like mind so we have begun to find new solutions for this need. Till now your sense of community with Cygnus came through the letterbox in the form of the monthly Cygnus Review.
Now we'd like to explore new ways for you to meet each other as Cygnus Supporters, either locally at Cygnus Cafe Events, virtually in Cygnus forums, if enough of you want this, and perhaps in other ways too. The choice is yours. Till now, Cygnus was Ann's and my creation. I feel the time has come for the sense of ownership to become all of ours, those of us who are committed to spiritural tranformaton.

There’s a great quotation from renowned author Cilla Conway on this book, and it sums up my feelings as well: “I don’t normally read books on angels as I find many of them too saccharine, but I found Wendy Erlick’s book direct, authentic and sometimes very moving”. This gets it exactly right: it’s down to earth, everyday and for that very reason very inspiring. A spiritual gift like this can descend on any of us at any time, and her story is well-told and compelling, but the account becomes incredibly useful in the second half of the book when she goes into detail about her training and shows us how too we can get in touch with invisible beings. She discusses the different angels and what they specialize in and how we can work with them, but all this in a very straightforward and refreshingly non-ethereal way.
