Here’s another deck and book set from the founder of the Psychic Sisters, following her Angel Tarot. It’s inspired by Nordic myth and folklore and what’s great about it is that each image in the Major Arcana is identifiably based on the Rider Waite model but then has many variations upon it which subtly change its impact. The cards are full of animals and Nordic landscapes. The Court cards are likewise evocative and transport you to another place, whereas the minor arcana just carry the regular suit images. As a special bonus the deck also includes a 23^rd Major Arcana card, Charity, designed by Tracey Emin. The colours on the cards generally are pale and icy. The book reproduces the cards in full colour and gives their meanings and some suggested Nordic-themed layouts. The set is very reasonably priced and is ideal for anyone whose heart belongs in northern climes.
