There are some books, which will take you carefully through various exercises and build you up gradually and others, like this one, which can get you there in a flash, like in Zen satori. It’s an American import, so the price is high after the pound’s decline, but the author is British and I really urge you to check this book out if you like a book that has the potential to blow your ego apart. It takes all sorts, but this combination of poetry and prose enigmatically and soulfully guides us along what’s known as The Pathless Path. Stop right where you are and let yourself see that it’s all just beautiful.
