This is a must-read for anyone who suffers from social anxiety and any resultant depressive tendencies. Or for anyone who knows or is related to one. The author is still young but writes of her challenging experiences when even younger – while at school and at university. Her suffering was immense and she does not spare the detail – often humorously though – but she got through it and this book shares her wisdom. A warning: Her language can be quite frank at times so this is not for the easily offended. But as long as that doesn’t put you off, this is packed full of worthwhile exercises and resources, plus encouraging anecdotes.
